Athina Apeiranthitou
A | Architecture is an architectural office specializing in the design of buildings from initial concept to completion. Its areas of focus include architectural design, building permitting, interior and exterior design, as well as construction supervision for projects ranging from private residences and hospitality developments to retail and dining spaces. Based in Chalandri, Athens and on the island of Paros, with a significant part of its work undertaken in the Cyclades and Attica, the office was founded in 2014 by architect Athina Apeiranthitou.
Every project evolves through close collaboration with the client, with the user’s needs, aspirations and way of living forming essential parameters of the design process. The architectural proposal is developed using contemporary design tools and photorealistic 3D visualizations, allowing the project to be fully understood before construction begins. The process continues through detailed design, construction management and supervision, ensuring the consistent implementation of the design and the quality of the final outcome.
Through this approach, the office seeks to create spaces that respond meaningfully to their intended use while developing in close relationship with the landscape and their broader context. Drawing inspiration from the simplicity and clarity of Cycladic architecture, as well as from a broader pursuit of a minimal and balanced architectural expression, each project is developed with an emphasis on geometric clarity, proportion, functionality, and the quality of materials and construction. The aim is to create refined and harmonious environments that enhance everyday experience and quality of life.

Athina Apeiranthitou studied Architecture at the University of Portsmouth and the University of Patras, where she received her Master’s Degree in Architecture.
Following her first professional experience in architectural practices in Athens, she joined ECE – Lamda Hellas as a Coordination Architect, where for six years she coordinated the design and construction of stores at The Mall Athens and Golden Hall. For the following two years, she worked for Dream Group as a Project Manager, designing chain stores and overseeing their construction in Greece, Europe, and the United States. She later collaborated with architectural offices in Athens and Paros, working on architectural and detailed design, as well as construction supervision, for residential, hospitality, and commercial projects in Athens, the Cyclades and abroad.
Alongside these professional activities, which have given her significant experience across a broad range of building projects, she has, since 2014, founded A | Architecture, where, together with her collaborators, she provides high-quality services in architectural and interior design, as well as construction management.
